SalesCandy tracks and recognizes duplicate lead submission through phone number and project before the leads are routed to the salespersons. The phone number is considered as the unique code for every lead that is submitted.
SalesCandy filters out duplicate lead by considering the below scenarios.
For same phone number & same project
- Same Phone Number + Same Name + Same Email Address + Project A = One Lead
- Same Phone Number + Same Name + Different Email Address + Project A = One Lead
- Same Phone Number + Different Name + Different Email Address + Project A = One Lead
For different phone number but same project
- Different Phone Number + Same Name + Same Email Address + Project A = Two Leads
- Different Phone Number + Different Name + Same Email Address + Project A = Two Leads
- Different Phone Number + Same Name + Same Email Address + Project A = Two Leads
For same phone number & different project
- Same Phone Number + Same Name + Same Email Address + Project A & Project B = Two Leads
- Same Phone Number + Same Name + Different Email Address + Project A & Project B = Two Leads
- Same Phone Number + Different Name + Different Email Address + Project A & Project B = Two Leads

Example:
1. Lead A submits an enquiry through a landing page using +60123456789 for Project XYZ. After two days, prospect A saw a Facebook Lead Ad for Project XYZ and submitted an enquiry using the same contact number.
This will be considered as ONE LEAD as Lead A has submitted an enquiry for the same project but 2 different lead sources using the same phone number.
2. Lead B submits an enquiry through a Facebook Lead Ad for Project XYZ using +60123456789 and submits another enquiry in Landing Page for Project XYZ using the phone number +601987654321.
This is considered as TWO LEADS since Lead B used two different phone numbers to submit enquiries through two different lead sources for the same project.
3. Lead C submitted an enquiry for Project XYZ through landing page and another enquiry for Project DEF in Facebook Lead Ad using same phone number +60123456789.
This is considered as TWO LEADS as Lead C submitted an enquiry for two different projects through two different lead sources and using the same phone number.
