Action Required - End of Support Notice for Android OS 6.0 & Below

We are increasing our minimum supported Android OS version from 5.1 to 6.1 as a minimum requirement to use SalesCandy Mobile App (Android) and we will cease the support for the devices with older Android OS version, 6.0 and below effective from 1st November 2020.

Why OS Version 6.0 & Below Are Not Supported?

SalesCandy will review our minimum supported Android version every 6 months and we have a policy where we would discontinue supporting devices with older Android OS version if the total users are less than 5% based on our current user base.

Also, we are focused on developing new features and some of the new features may not be supported by the older OS versions which could stop functioning at any time.

Action Plan

As we will no longer support the devices with Android version 6.0 and below starting from 1st November 2020, we would not troubleshoot any issues encountered in the mobile app by the user with those devices since there are higher possibilities where the users may encounter crashes while using the app.

Therefore, we would advise all our users to upgrade their devices to Android OS version 6.1 and above before 31st October 2020.
