Below you can find the explanation of each SMS element:
"Hi {name:there}, thanks for your enquiry on {project} {duration} ago. Please expect a call from {salesperson} shortly.
→ { } - Variable where it would capture the lead names upon form submission.
→ : there - If the lead is without the name then we can address the lead as “there” or “prospect buyer” to etc. (support Printable 7bit special characters except the reserved { : and }. Space is supported).
→ {project} - Would change based on the project.
→ {duration} - It would be sent the time the lead was submitted based on these metrics:
- < 5 minutes - a moment
- < 1 hour - x minute(s)
- < 1 day - x hour(s)
- >= 1 day - x day(s)
→ {salesperson} - The salesperson's name who accepted the lead.
Example of automated SMS would look like this:
"Hi Ali , thanks for your enquiry on Project ABC, a moment.
Please expect a call from Sam shortly."
2. If you are given the options to play around with the Automated SMS settings. You can also allow the salesperson to disable automated SMS by checking the checkbox. Likewise, you can broadcast any Won leads made to all the salespersons or managers under the project by ticking the checkbox.
III. Setting up lead routing
Auto routing
The basic forward auto-routing, without extra matching, required. Whoever you add here, that salesperson will receive the lead automatically in seconds after the lead submission on a fair routing basis. However, this depends on the routing chance set by managers for the salesperson in sales team settings.
Backup routing
Backup routing would kick in if the leads are not picked up by the auto-routing teams if the leads were not attended by the salesperson in the auto-routing team within a certain duration set by managers.
For example;
→ If the backup routing is set to kick-in after 15 minutes once the sales team in auto-routing is not available to attend the lead.
→ Once the backup routing team activated, the leads will be routed to all sales teams under both auto-routing and backup routing.
If your company employs call centres to qualify leads before they're handed to the salespersons, you can make use of the Manual routing section.
→ The team which is the callers in the call centres will be added in auto and/or backup routing.
→ The actual sales teams will be placed under the "Manual routing" section.
The flow would be;
Call centre team accepts, qualifies, then transfers or manually route the leads to actual sales teams to follow-up.
